Inspiring Young Minds: Dynamic X at the RLSP Olchfa Careers Event

Have you ever wondered how today’s students can become tomorrow’s tech innovators?
At Dynamic X, we believe the answer lies in early exposure to real innovation! Preparing young minds for the future requires more than classroom learning. It takes real world engagement, industry insights, and opportunities to explore emerging trends and technologies.
On 10th April 2025, Dynamic X was proud to be a part of the RLSP Olchfa Careers Event, a standout gathering hosted at Olchfa School, Swansea and to play a direct role in shaping the next generation of talent. This careers event brought 10th grade learners to explore the future of work in Southwest Wales.
Dynamic X was able to inspire future talent, showcasing VR in construction and careers at the RLSP Olchfa Careers Event 2025.
Why the RLSP Olchfa Careers Event?
The RLSP Olchfa Careers Event was organised as feedback to both local businesses and school learners, who voiced a clear need for better awareness about the career opportunities available in Southwest Wales.
This event was a platform to bridge that gap giving employers the chance to showcase their services, highlighting how innovation can shape real world work, and introducing students to career paths they may not have previously considered.
More than just a careers fair, it was a collaborative effort to develop knowledge and empower young people with the correct guidance and awareness.
What Made Dynamic X Participate in RLSP Olchfa Careers Event?
We didn’t just participate, we showed up with a purpose!
At Dynamic X, we value empowering the future workforce by sharing knowledge to raise awareness of the emerging career opportunities. The RLSP Olchfa Careers Event aligned perfectly with our values of social impact, regional engagement, and inspiring the next generation.
By participating, we aimed to promote how innovation and technology are shaping the construction industry by means of health and safety and many more particularly across Wales.
What We Shared with the Young Minds?
“The future belongs to those who are curious, creative, and open to solving real world problems through technology.”
Dynamic X is not just about CGI or VR, we solve real world problems through innovation. Our goal was to make students aware that careers in tech, especially in areas like VR based health and safety training and digital construction solutions, offer opportunities to make an actual impact as a young individual.
At Dynamic X, we always encourage students to see beyond traditional career paths and imagine a future with new ideas and limitless innovations.
If you’re passionate about design, engineering, technology, or problem solving? Then there exists a place for you to be successful on this journey.
Moments that Mattered
It was a memorable time with the students. We engaged around 200 students of 10th grade, who were interested in learning the new world. Students asked smart, thoughtful questions from how the VR technology simulates construction site hazards, to how interactive visualisation helps construction industry’s professionals make better decisions.
A highlight? Watching students connect their current subjects to real career paths in digital construction and immersive tech.
This was a satisfying moment for us giving mental fireworks to us!
Why Should Businesses like Dynamic X Focus on Career Education at School Level?
As a figure in the forefront of immersive technology solutions, majorly in VR based health and safety training, real time 3D visualisation, and interactive walkthroughs, we’re proud to be a part of this event as it confirmed how important early career engagement is in building future-ready talent.
It’s not just about filling roles, it’s about shaping futures, inspiring confidence, and preparing young people for the future of construction technology.
Our technologies are not only innovative but are changing the way industries operate, specifically in construction, manufacturing, and urban development. This aligns with our mission to give back to the communities we work in, while also strengthening skills in Wales and the wider UK.
As a business, we strive to inspire the young generation by means of offering exciting careers in areas like game design, 3D artistry, digital engineering, simulation development, and data analytics including all growing fields with global relevance and recognition.
We believe that it is our responsibility to contribute to developing future talent especially in a region like Wales where developing local skills can make a positive impact in supporting economic growth.
Dynamic X, our goal was to showcase that career in VR simulation training, digital construction solutions, and real-time 3D visualisation are already happening in the world.
With Whom Did We Collaborate?
This event was more than just an exhibition, it was a shared mission among employers, educators, and community leaders to shine a light on the exciting paths available to young people in Wales.
We were honoured to work alongside Partneriaeth Ddysgu a Sgiliau Ranbarthol – De Orllewin Cymru (RLSP), who coordinated the event with fellow exhibitors who are just as committed to nurturing young talent in Wales.
Dynamic X was proud to be one voice among many, all working to open doors for young talent in Wales.
What We Learnt?
Our experience at the RLSP Olchfa Careers Event left us with a renewed sense of purpose and several powerful insights. One of the most striking takeaways was just how eager students are to understand the “why” behind their learning. They’re not just looking for information, they’re looking for meaningful connections between what they study in school and what they could do in the real world.
We also saw that when technology is explained with hands-on experience like our VR health and safety simulations, it instantly captures attention. Students became genuinely curious, asking thoughtful questions and seeing themselves in roles they may never have considered before.
Perhaps most importantly, it reinforced our belief that businesses have a crucial role to play in early career education. A simple conversation, a short demo, or a relatable story can make a lasting impression within young minds.
For us at Dynamic X, that’s exactly the kind of impact we hope to keep making.
Final Thoughts
These moments of connection are a core part of our mission to empower imagination through technology, and we’re proud to keep that momentum going.
We’re committed to joining more careers fairs across Southwest Wales and beyond. Events like this help ensure that students see real-life pathways into industries like VR simulation, interactive design, and health and safety innovation industries that are growing fast, right here in the UK.
If you’ve made it this far in our blog, kudos to you!
